Head of Analytics (Denmark - Hybrid)
As our Head of Analytics, you will be responsible for leading a team of data engineers and data scientists to drive the development and execution of our data strategy. You will work closely with our product, engineering, and business teams to identify key metrics, design data architecture, and build models to drive business decisions. Understanding network, infrastructure, and telecommunication industry would be a significant advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the company's data strategy and roadmap.
- Oversee the design and implementation of our data architecture and infrastructure, with a focus on telecommunications and networking.
- Lead the development and deployment of predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analyses to generate insights and inform business decisions.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products, services, and customer needs to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.
- Provide thought leadership and strategic direction to ensure the effective use of data and analytics throughout the organization.
- Manage a team of data engineers and data scientists, setting goals, providing coaching and mentoring, and ensuring their ongoing professional development.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data-driven initiatives and lead the execution of these initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling, and leverage this knowledge to inform our data strategy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, computer science, mathematics, or engineering. A Master's degree is a plus.
- At least 7 years of experience in data analytics and/or data science roles, with at least 3 years of experience leading a team.
- Experience with data architecture and engineering, with a focus on networking, infrastructure, or telecommunications.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience developing and deploying predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analyses.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience working with SQL and big data technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data analyses and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring a team of data engineers and data scientists.
- Passionate about data and its potential to drive business value, with a natural curiosity to explore new data sources and techniques.
- Fluent in English - spoken and written.
- Agile/Scrum background is a plus.
