Software Configuration Manager/Engineer (Hanoi - Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

The Software Configuration Manager/Engineer will be responsible for upgrading, maintaining and upgrading our CI environment to ensure it is very responsive and comprehensive in testing for each build.

  • Ensure that Git/Gerrit/Jenkins runs smoothly and is constantly expanded to run state of the art Jenkins plugins to support our developers. 
  • Integrate with our bug and project management systems, create release notes automatically, easy and fast releasing as well as supporting in developing an automated test system at all levels from unit test to system test.
  • Ensure that our build farm is efficient, up to date, and free from unscheduled downtime
  • Ensure a solid strategy for enabling configuration of baselines for all our products

Requirements:

  • A relevant engineering degree in software or electronics and at least 5 years working experience in software configuration management and software development
  • At least 5 years' experience in C++ programming and Software design
  • Experience in Git, Gerrit and Jenkins configuration is required
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Experience with the following requirements is advantageous:
    • Internet protocols and building blocks
    • Linux programming
    • Test driven development
  • Strong analytical skills and find it easy to familiarize yourself with new technologies.
  • Able to work both in project teams and as an individual.
