Senior Frontend Engineer for Switch UI (JavaScript) (Hanoi, Vietnam - Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

• Develop local web UI applications for Service Provide/Enterprise switching products.

• Work closely with product owner to define UI requirements and user experience.

• Work closely with back-end developers, switch firmware development team, DevOps, and system test engineering, on end- to-end system integration, performance, and testing.


Requirements:

• B.Sc./M.S. Computer Science, Software or equivalent.

• At least four years of software engineering experience accompanied with solid understanding of web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP, JSON).

• Understanding of JS principles such as prototype chains, scopes, and scope chains. 

• Familiarity with W3C standards and ES specifications and Web semantics.

• Proficiency in the use of JS frameworks, React, Vue, and/or Angular.

• Understanding of JS framework principles, able to independently develop common components.

• Proficiency with the box model, common layouts and browser and mobile device compatibility.

• Knowledge of front-end automation and engineering.

• Understand common data structures and algorithms, such as sorting, finding and other basic algorithms.

• Experience developing and working with REST APIs, web services, and RPC.

• Experience with UX design is a plus.

• Proficiency in English - spoken and written.

• Proven ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject matter experts.
