IT Support Engineer (Hanoi, Vietnam - Onsite/Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure hardware and software components
  • Repair or replace damaged hardware
  • Install and upgrade antivirus software
  • Test and evaluate new technology
  • Perform tests on new hardware and software
  • Provide daily operational support for LAN/WAN networks, including firewalls.
  • Manage help desk system for open issues.
  • Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance
  • Solve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Recognize impediments to our efficiency as a team ("technical debt"), propose and implement solutions
  • Collaborate with the team on larger projects.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering with Linux+ certifications
  • 3+ years of experience with the installation of Windows, MacOS, and Linux
  • Repair or replace damaged hardware
  • Experience with VPN, DCHP, SSL, IPSEC, VLAN
  • Significant professional experience with Microsoft 365 Administration.
  • Experience installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal
  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose solutions.
  • Comfort working in a highly agile, intensely fast pace engineering organization.
  • Positive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work closely with other departments
